Penn Beekeeping ClubA student-run group that seeks to foster an appreciation for the ecological importance of the honeybee within students and members of the community through fun events and beekeeping.

Penn Closet
Penn Closet is a student-run second-hand store and sustainability hub located in Williams Hall. We have second-hand items donated by the Penn community, and are operated by Penn Student Agencies. Our items include clothing, accessories, books, and more!

Outdoors Club (UPOC)
Outdoors club is a student-lead group of students interested in organizing outdoors trips. We have organized hiking trips, camping trips, pack-rafting trips, kayaking trips, and volunteer trips just to name a few. If you are interested in exploring or want to know more about what opportunities exist, you should check us out!

Eco-Reps
Penn's Student Eco-Reps is an environmental leadership program for students interested in advancing sustainability through the implementation of campus-based projects. Students work as paid employees of Penn’s Sustainability Office and collaborate with our University partners to carry out projects in support of Penn’s Climate Action Plan.

Isla Urbana at Penn
Isla Urbana is a non-profit organization that has designed an environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable rainwater harvesting system that collects and cleans rainwater for households, schools and health clinics in Mexico City. |
Fossil Free Penn
We are a student-run organization that is petitioning Penn's Board of Trustees to divest its endowment from the fossil fuel industry.

Climate Reality Project at PennThe Climate Reality Project is a national organization founded by Al Gore. Through its campus chapters, Climate Reality is focused on getting universities to commit to 100% renewable energy usage. At Penn, we frequently meet with the Sustainability Office to discuss the progress on our purchasing of renewables, and also engage with the student body through various events and collaborations.

Epsilon Eta
The mission of Epsilon Eta is to recognize and connect sustainability-minded students, providing them with a network of support and opportunities during and after their academic career. We strive to foster a conscious awareness of the intrinsic relationship between people and their environment through academics, the community, service, and personal development.

The Penn Geology Society aims to foster an environment where students with a passion for Earth Science can come together to learn, grow, and develop.

Penn Vegan Society
The Penn Vegan Society is an academic society researching and promoting discourse around plant-based diets, sustainability, and bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania.

EES Undergraduate Advisory Board (UAB)
We are a group of students that act as a bridge between faculty/staff and undergraduates in the Earth and Environmental Science department by hosting events to build community. We also engage as peer advisors.

Engineers Without BordersPenn Engineers Without Borders (Penn EWB) is a non-profit humanitarian organization that collaborates with with underdeveloped communities worldwide to design and implement sustainable engineering projects in order to improve their quality of life. |
Penn Environmental Group (PEG) is a broad-interest student group that focuses on a combination of events, speakers, and projects dedicated to enhancing the environmental community at Penn and working toward a greener future. Penn’s oldest and largest environmental student group, PEG was founded in 1971 by students who were actively involved in the 1970 Earth Day celebration. We’re so excited for our 50th year of student environmental activism!
